Rhonda LaPoint

Facilitator 

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has practiced in both community and clinical settings for over 15 years. 


I work with a variety of clients including adults, adolescents, and families. My approach
is client-focused, strength-based, and collaborative using a variety of clinical interventions that can support each person to heal and grow. 
 
My experience includes working with clients who have experienced trauma, or significant loss or are going through a phase of life challenges. Other specialties include adult ADHD, anxiety, depression, women’s issues, relationship issues, anger management, and other mood disorders. I also have worked with teachers and school staff, training them in effectively support children and adolescents with ADHD and other impulsive behavior issues.

I also train clinicians to effectively intervene and assess crisis situations. It is important to me to participate in a variety of experiential programs that promote personal and interpersonal understanding.  This includes (3) long-term Women’s Leadership Collaboratives at Hope Springs (Peebles Ohio) as well as facilitating Women’s Circles for over 10 years.

Chauncey Beaty 

Facilitator 

With nearly 20 years in the field of personal transformation and organizational development, Chauncey Beaty is an award-winning poet, TEDx speaker, business strategist for talent-based entrepreneurs, certified life coach, and master facilitator.

 

She is the founder of the 8th Annual Ready Woman Retreat and Luvjoi.co, a family-matching online boutique and social movement that promotes healthy relationships between mothers and daughters.

 

Chauncey is most known for her ability to do transformational “heart work” -- creating a safe space for individuals and organizations to speak their deepest truth, be heard, and create a new possibility for the future. As a speaker and facilitator, Chauncey easily connects and captivates her audience using a winning blend of humor, insight, and her unbeatable down-to-earth personality.

Chauncey has been a keynote speaker and trainer at numerous high schools, college campuses, and conferences nationally and abroad. She is often hired by small businesses, non-profits, and even Fortune 500 companies, such as Coca-Cola, to train on leadership, DEI, vision and mission statement development, team building, productivity, and organizational culture. 

Chauncey earned a Bachelor of Arts from Winthrop University in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Humanities (African American and African Studies) from The Ohio State University. The Life Purpose Institute, in San Diego, California, certified her as a Life Coach. She is a graduate of numerous leadership, organizational development, and diversity training programs, including the Ray Miller Institute for Change and Leadership in Columbus, Ohio. Chauncey is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a native of Greenville, South Carolina.

Elizabeth Muniot

Facilitator

Elizabeth Muniot teaches, coaches, and consults in individual, group, and organization development. She leans on her background and training in leadership development and mindfulness to empower others to reach beyond their own perceived limitations as they identify and remove barriers that get in the way of unlocking potential and achieving goals. Elizabeth is passionate about creating space where women, especially mothers, can be their authentic selves and step into their power.

Elizabeth is a member of Hope Springs’ Women’s Leadership Collaborative 3, which started in 2011 under the facilitation of Suzanne Stevens and Patricia Williams. She has hosted Recharge Camp; Renew Yoga + Mindful Movement Retreats at Hope Springs, and is excited to return as a WLC @ Hope Springs facilitator. Prior to founding her coaching and consulting business, Sage Changes, Elizabeth was the Assistant Director of George Mason University’s Center for Social Entrepreneurship, where she developed co-curricular activities, facilitated workshops, mentored students, and served as the Director of the Social Innovation Program. At both No Kid Hungry (Share Our Strength) and the Lupus Foundation of America - DMV Chapter, Elizabeth mobilized diverse volunteer networks to consistently exceed fundraising goals. She also served as the Director of Corporate Relations for The Arc of the United States, initiating the organization’s first media sponsorship.


Elizabeth has a B.A. in Political Science from Barnard College, Columbia University, and an M.S. in Organization Development from the American University. She has more than 500 hours of yoga teacher training and lives with her family outside Washington, DC.
